Murphy writes , "White exhibited Young Woman in 1964 at the major exhibition The Art of Charles White: Lithographs , Linocuts, and Drawings, which traveled in Los Angeles from Occidental College to the School of Fine Arts of the University of Judaism. It also appeared in 1965 in his final exhibition at New York's American Contemporary Art (ACA) Gallery, which had mounted seven one-person shows of White's work since 1947."
