Description
A Chinese sancai ceramic fruit on a dish dating from the Tang dynasty. The blue, globular fruit with a stem is attached to a blue and red dish.
Dimensions are: 5 inches tall X 5 1/2 inches wide, 12.7 cm X 14 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: There are some chips to the rim of the dish.
Provenance: From the estate of Lim Kee Chin, who was Singapore's trade commissioner to Hong Kong in the 1960s. Mr. Lim acquired these items while he was in Hong Kong.
