P Curnock for Royal Doulton, an Edward VII dessert service prototype plate, circa 1905, painted with alternating floral baskets and festoons, within a tooled raised gilt and turquoise ground foliate and shell scroll border, printed marks and museum reference number to the reverse, 22cm diameter Note: one of a small number of plates form the service still in the Royal collection, formerly owned by the Doulton Museum
