Description

Possibly French, early 20th century painted pine bakery or candy store counter, having a scalloped backsplash, white marble slab above a zinc top, with three drawers, and two doors flanking a open space, rising on plinth base, apparently unmarked. Approx. h. 33.25" (49" backsplash), w. 80.25", d. 24.75".

Condition

Pleasing distressed painted finish, chips to marble with surface wear, dents and wear to zinc top, stable joint separation to wooden top, case is structurally sound.
