Indo-Persian hand painted scene from the Ramayana, early to mid 20th century, painted in the Kangra School style, illustrating the moment just before Lord Rama strings Shiva's bow to win Sita's hand in marriage, apparently unsigned. Sight approx: h. 8.5", w. 12". Overall: h. 16", w. 18.75", d..50".
Condition
Not examined out of frame. Painting is in very good condition, silk mat and lower frame have water damage which does not appear to impinge on image.
