Pair of Chinese yellow ground Famille Rose vases, each of bottle form with trumpet necks, having reserves depicting bogu or ancient things on a lotus scrollwork ground, the bodies having gilt lion mask and ring handles above floral reserves interspaced with smaller bogu reserves on a conforming yellow lotus scrollwork ground, each having an iron red, six character seal mark to the underside. Approx: h. 9.5".

Examined under blacklight. Both drilled to be mounted as lamps. Vase 1- wear to iron red band at rim and (2) fleabites on rim. Not distracting. Vase 2- minor wear to iron red on rim.
