Edward Lownes (American 1792-1834; active from 1816), circa 1820, six piece coin silver tea service, each piece having grape vine decoration comprising: a hot water urn (h. 12"), coffee pot (h. 9.75"), teapot (h. 9.5"), covered sugar bowl (h. 8"), cream jug (h. 7.25"), and waste bowl (4.25"), all appropriately marked. Total approx. weight inclusive of all materials of, 198.88 ozt. Condition
Handles of coffee and tea pots are damaged/detached, bases of cream jug and waste bowl are dented. Scattered surface scratches typical of domestic use. Monogram to back of hot water urn, other pieces with no apparent monogram
