Marga Hayes Ingram, (American, active late 20th century), 1997, mixed media hanging ceramic plaque, executed in clay, wood, acrylic paint, and stones, having a clay arch with ledge inset with a painting on panel depicting two trees in a misty landscape above a small wooden bowl containing stones, signed, dated en verso. Provenance: Acquired from the Hunter Museum of Art in Chattanooga, Tennessee in 1997; from the Estate of Sharon Mills, daughter of the late Olan and Mary Stephenson Mills, Chattanooga, Tennessee. Approx: h. 11", w. 9.5", d. 3".
Condition
Overall very good. 1/2" loss of gold paint to right side of ledge.
