Simone Adolphine Weil was a French philosopher, mystic, and political activist. Weil was born into a secular household and raised in complete agnosticism. As a teenager, she considered the existence of God and as an adult , she became an activist in the French Resistance during World War II. posthumously over 2,500 works were published works about her and had influence on French and English social thought.
