Description
Mid 18th century, mixed woods. Queen Anne armchair rocker with scrolled arms and bulbous stretcher, stylized splat and crest. Splat repaired with rosehead nails. Added rockers, damaged rush seat and old black paint over red has wear. 15" seat, 40.5"h. Together with a slat back side chair with sausage turnings, and turned stretchers. Possibly Delaware Valley. Old crusty, worn black paint over red. Replaced splint seat has loss. Overall wear and some edge loss. 16" seat, 42"h.
