East Asia, China, Ming Dynasty, ca. 1368 to 1644 CE. A fine trio of mold made pottery tomb attendant figures standing atop integral rectangular plinths. Each wears ankle length robes with their arms bent inward and hands curled as if clasping items such as instruments or offerings. Upon their heads are brimmed hats, and chubby rounded features. Remains of the blue, red, black, and white pigments throughout that were painted after firing are well preserved despite the lack of a protective glaze!
