A set of two 1800s matching marble and alabaster obelisks. The items have an off white base with relief profile portrait depictions of famous ancient Greek philosophers, Diogenes and Socrates. Both portraits have names on inscriptions underneath. The main body part is a dark stone pietra dura and has bronze metal hooks. Neo Classical Style items from the mid of the XIX Century.
