Willie loses his cool when the Super Duper Automatic Record Changer goes nuts. Under the covers, Willie tries to seduce another guy's gal and gets his ass beat. According to GCD, young Mike Sekowsky was a dead ringer for Willie (see Sekowsky's likeness in Stan Lee's "Secrets Behind the Comics" for corroboration). Was Sekowsky a fumble-footed yutz in his youth, like his cartoon doppelganger? Probably. According to comics historian Mark Evanier, Sekowsky was a great guy but his self-esteem was in the crapper: "For the first six months he knew you, you couldn't get him to look you in the eye." — Tom Stewart, "So, What Kind of Guy WAS Mike Sekowsky?" The Basement blog entry, October 8, 2015.
