In Harry Anderson's "Cult of Killers," a cop cracks an opium and prostitution ring disguised as a religious cult. Cult members include "some of the most prominent men in the community," like a hophead's version of the hedonistic Hellfire Club, familiar to readers of the Claremont-Byrne X-Men run of the 1980s. Slab-crackers will be rewarded by some of frequent Atlas contributor Harry Anderson's best linework (although the shoddy printing job renders some of the art indistinct), as well as two lurid hanging panels.
