Woman eaten alive by hungry plant ("No, I... AWRRKK!"); mutated Hiroshima survivor goes on kill spree; egalitarian zit cream "spot" promises to clear the complexions of "Men, women and children, White and Negro" alike. There's a nutty ad for a "Medicine Man's Horn Headdress Kit" featuring a chap who resembles Jake Angeli, the "QAnon Shaman" who's currently cooling his horns in the hoosegow for his part in the January 6, 2021 Capitol kerfuffle. It's unknown if Mr. Angeli is a funnybook fan, but he's certainly espoused ideas akin to comic-book concepts, such as a belief that televisions and radios emit "very specific frequencies that are inaudible," that "affect the brain waves of your brain." — Fredrick Kunkle, "Trump Supporter in Horns and Fur is Charged in Capitol Riot." The Washington Post, January 9, 2021.
