A Feldstein-faced fraulein aims her gat at a cringing cop, but her psychotic boyfriend has other plans: he wants to drown the cop in a vat containing another cop's corpse. With the sixth ish, Fight Against Crime kicks into gruesome high gear: "The first five issues of this title aren't particularly memorable... The first real horror tale to appear in this title is the Doug Wildey epic, 'Horror of the Clutching Hand,' in Fight Against Crime #6. The hand in question is disembodied yet still 'handily' agile and it wreaks vengeance upon the criminal who disembodied it in the first place." — George Suarez, Tales To Terrible To Tell #5. NEC: 1992, pp. 34-35.
