Good- (1.8). Spine of covers split and held with tape at inside spine, STAPLES REPLACED, small chip at spine crown, 1/2" x 1/4" chip at spine foot, covers otherwise wonderfully flat and clean, printed in Canada according to indicia (the entire print runs of the first seven issues of Dark Mysteries were printed in Canada). Off-white pages with cream edges. Cover: Bill Fraccio. Art: Doug Wildey, Hy Fleishman, uncredited others. GPAnalysis: No reported sales in this grade. A 2.5 sold for $300 in December 2020.

Tepid terror tales featuring dwarves, vampires, ghost pirates, cat women, killer statues. Indicia buffs will notice that this mag was printed in Canada. However, unlike Canadian versions of EC comics, it should be noted that the full print runs of the first seven issues of Dark Mysteries were printed in Canada. Nobody seems to know the reason for this anomaly, not even pre-Code savant George Suarez, who merely shrugs and says: "What's all this mean? Beats me!"
