“Synchronize My Boogie, Afternoon” by Tom Everhart is a fine art lithograph printed at S2 Editions, Ltd. Atelier in 2002 under the supervision of master printers Raymond Mazza and senior presswoman Ana Tous. The edition was printed on Rives BFK paper. . The artist, Tom Everhart, personally signed all examples in pen in the lower right-hand corner. Each sheet measures 27-1/2” x 34.” This is # /350Tom Everhart is the only visual artist taught by cartoonist Charles M. Schulz to be given legal permission to recreate Peanuts comic book characters in his work, he paints these cartoon subjects to balance familiarity with the unexpected. Everhart transforms Schulz’s painterly pen marks into gestural brushwork with splatters and drips. Introduced to Charles M. Schulz in 1980, Everhart impressed Schulz with his ability to recreate his art style, resulting in an ongoing partnership between the two artists.
