Vintage Sterling Shell Cameo Marcasite Brooch, 1 5/8". This could be .800 or sterling. Tests strongly as silver. 1920's-1930's carved cameo. The metal tests as sterling with a weight of 10.13gr which includes the cameo, marcasites, etc., in the eight. This may have had a new pinback installed as it is slightly brighter than the rest of the brooch but done with a vintage locking pinback. Very good condition other than oxidation on the silver. Not signed or marked. (INV.W111321.1X6 SS6118 J LD 11/30/21).
