Impressive Silver Hanukkah Menorah, After a 19th century German Model, Hungary, second half of the 20th century, designed and decorated with complex artisanal handcrafted hammering and engraving, a Torah Crown to its top and in its center a pair of lions carrying the The Tablets of Stone (Ten Commandments). Row of vessels designed in the form of lion figurines, the head of each lion opens for inserting the oil and a burner pipe protrudes out its nose. On both sides of the vessels, two lions are reposed on elevated galleries. There are pullable Shamash vessel and oil jug. The Hanukkah Menorah is very impressive, marked on its base on the right with the Hungarian 835 Silver Standard hallmark and additional marks (maker), on its reverse there is an engraving of the family name of the Hanukkah Menorah's Jewish owners. Total weight: 1717 grams, width: 35 cm, height: 32 cm. The soldering of the crown was apparently repaired from the upper side, Heavy patina and light use marks.
