Lot of two cast bronze crotal bells. The first is a large and heavy crotal bell with rattling sound by Robert Wells, late 18th to early 19th century, marked "RW" and numbered 28 in cast just below the loop. 4 - 1/2" in diameter. The bell is in excellent original vintage condition with no cracks, wear or repairs. The second is a smaller crotal bell by William Barton. Measures approximately 2" in diameter, in good condition with minor cast bronze patina oxidation and one small hairline, but doesn't make any sound as the rattle is missing. Condition: (Good - Excellent). Dimensions: Largest: 5 - 1/2" x 4 - 1/2" x 4 - 1/2".
