Spanish Walnut Two-Drawer Table

18th century, the projecting top over a frieze carved with panels of rosettes, one side fitted with a pair of drawers, raised on ring- and baluster-turned legs joined by a low box stretcher.

In good "as found" condition. The piece is functional, exhibiting slight side-to-side movement at its joints but remains useful as a desk with little movement. It has normal shrinkage, dings, mars, blemishes, chips to edges and other indications of age and use all creating a handsome patina. The top exhibits some stains and areas of lifted finish. Wear to the front stretcher from feet as one would expect. Drawers slide freely; pulls may be replaced.
