A CHINESE VINTAGE "MOUNTAINOUS RIVER" PAINTED PORCELAIN VASE, SIGNED YU ZHIQING, CIRCA 1950-1980, the pear form body topped by an applied shaped cylindrical neck with a rounded mouth ending in a notched rim and flanked by elephant head handles, alternating a black four character mark inscription opposite an iron red bamboo cluster over notched flaring trim, above vertical paneled sides of overglaze polychrome enameled distant mountains and large rocky cliff over a meandering river crossed by a footbridge, connecting rocky banks detailed with tall blossoming trees opposite willows and ancient pines shading two hip-roofed structures interspersed with people at various pursuits, reversing to an elliptically shaped inscription with seven short rows of calligraphic black character marks and one top right iron red mark, raised on a short flaring ring foot with glaze ending before base revealing pinkish orange ceramic body and enclosing a glazed underside.
