Refinished in 1980, old repairs, restorations, age shrinkage cracks, inactive worming, bronze hardwares are replacements, uneven drawers/doors from age and use, and wear throughout. The top towards back has holes probably for an upper structure, possibly a buffet à deux corps, buffet dressoir, or buffet vaisselier, sturdy construction.
