LUDWIG MIES VAN DER ROHE (German/American 1886-1969) A GLASS/STEEL COFFEE TABLE, "BARCELONA TABLE," BY KNOLL, NO. 252, 1990s, with a rectangular glass top on a polished stainless steel "X" form frame raised on integral conforming legs. Height: 17" Width: 40" Depth: 40" Note: The original model of the Barcelona Table was designed by Mies van der Rohe for the interior of the German Pavilion at the Barcelona Exhibition of 1929. Provenance: Estate of the late Drs. Wiley and Gloria Biles, Houston, Texas; Proceeds to benefit Houston Baptist University
