Description
A PAIR OF CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE FAUX 'WINDOW' PORCELAIN VASES, PROBABLY JINGDEZHEN, 20TH CENTURY, of overall flat rectangular form with pinched necks painted with underglaze green chrysanthemum flowers on an underglaze blue leafy plant ground, two windows open and oppose one another with recessed applied blanc de chine molded flowering plants of spring, winter, autumn and summer, surrounded by cloud swirls, flanked by porcelain handles, and raised on rectangular bases. Height: 13" Width: 6 1/2" Depth: 3 1/2" Provenance: Collection of Sue Minton Harris, Houston, Texas
