TOYOKUNI III AND HIROSHIGE II JAPANESE WOODBLOCK PRINTS MOUNTED AS A SCROLL, 19TH C., 33 PRINTS, H 13.25", W 9", MIRACLES OF KANNON, WESTERN PROVINCES Collaborative woodblock prints by Toyokuni III / Kunisada (1786-1864) and Hiroshige II (1826-1869). Thirty three prints in total, all prints are mounted as a scroll. The total length of the scroll is 26'. Individual prints have heights of 13.25" and widths of 9". Each print depicts a Temple on the Kannon pilgrimage route.
Condition
All prints are glued down and mounted as a scroll. The three outermost prints have losses, skinning and creasing. Approximately ten prints show areas of reverse foxing.
