This is a nice 25th Silver Anniversary Fender Stratocaster made in 1979. It is 100% original, in good vintage condition. SERIAL NUMBER: 251740. COLOR: Silver. WEIGHT: 10lbs 5.4ozs (4kg/690g). This is a players Strat. Has some dents, dings, and chips throughout the guitar however plays very well, many years left for this 43-year-old beauty. The body has some unbelievable checking, and the oxidation of the silver finish has turned the body finish into a greenish tint. Matching pot codes are stamped 1377922 denoting the CTS Co. dated the 22nd week of 1979. CRL 5-way switch. Neck pickup is stamped 51179 and has a reading of 5.38k, middle pickup is stamped 183379 with a reading of 5.55k, and bridge pickup stamped 133379 with a reading of 5.53k. All chrome hardware and screws have a nice light patina to them. The neck is in pretty good shape, yes it has some dings, chips and dents but is straight and still in very playable condition. Neck is stamped 09021991 at the butt. Neck has a radius of 7.25. There is some fretware, but frets still have life left in them. This is very nice piece of Fender history to have. This Anniversary Strat includes the original hard-shell black case in good vintage condition, ashtray bridge cover, tremolo arm and polishing cloth. As always please see all photos for more detail.
