Description

Title: Unusual Antique "Hearts & Flowers" Quilt, c.1880

Provenance/Additional Info: This is an unusual if not unique antique quilt from the 1880's. The pattern is probably one of a kind. It is composed of "harts", "Flowers?" and "Vines" It was found in Western Pennsylvania. It is in excellent, lightly used and washed condition with no holes, tears, stains or odors. There is a little "tanning" in the center and in the bottom right corner. The tan elements were, most likely originally green. These have faded a bit in some areas. This fantastic quilt measures 90" X 74".
