Description
K&O Art Nouveau "Lost Hope" 1932 Hollow Bronze Bookend Woman Playing Harp. This beautiful bookend depict a blind-folded woman playing a lyre sitting atop a world globe. Appears to be made by the Kronheim & Oldenbusch, a company known for their beautiful vintage castings. K & O was in business from 1859 to 1939. Most of their bookends were produced between 1928 and 1935. These were made by the company circa 1932 and are known to collectors as "Lost Hope." Is approx 5" x 3" x 7" and it weighs 2.63lbs. The bookend is in a good, vintage condition with some tarnish. The logo has been worn off on the bottom. Please see the images as they are part of the description.
