Condition: Cosmetically the watch is in very good condition. Nice snap to all cases. No dings or scratches of note. Typical tarnishing of base metal associated with these early pieces. Mineral glass crystal has some chips to its edge - mostly around the "1". A few other assorted tiny scratches. Lovely dial with just a couple faint hairlines at the near the "4" and "55" marks. Well preserved movement which sets and runs, however, sweep hand appears to catch on the crystal and minute hand occasionally and will return to "9" not "0" when reset. Minute register does work. The service history is unknown and a fresh service to deal with the issues is recommended. Heritage Auctions strongly encourages in-person inspection of items by the bidder.
