Grouping of country primitives, all in metal, 19th and 20th century, including: Two wall mounted iron match safes, one a double safe, both with pat. 1867, a tin wall mount candle box with mirror and match holders - this is the largest piece in this lot measuring 7 1/4"W x 3" D x 7 5/8"H, a cast iron table mount shaver with dolphin shaped terminal, cast iron letter holder signed "STAR" - the terminals in the shape of legs, 6 reverse painted small tie-backs, etc. all items in very good condition. Provenance: From the Doris and Jerry Soldner collection, Lake Carmel NY (formally of Kingston NY).
