A primitive continental 18th century storage box with carvings on all sides, hand forged iron straps and handle, and mounted on turned feet with square shaped base, probably Indo-Persian. Some losses to edges of feet, a hairline crack in lid, repair to right front top, but overall good condition. Measures 20 1/2"W x 17 3/4"D x 9 1/2"H. Provenance: From the Doris and Jerry Soldner collection, Lake Carmel NY (formally of Kingston NY).
