Description
A very fine kitchen work table or farm table having a single board pine top with breadboard ends, one dovetailed end drawer, baluster form legs, beaded cross stretchers, and mortise and construction where all joints have wooden pins including the top which is fastened to the frame by larger wooden dowels - the base appears to be combination of birch and cherry with a red stain. Very good condition, late 18th to early 19th century. Measures 74"L x 30 5/8"W x 28 1/4"H. Provenance: From the Doris and Jerry Soldner collection, Lake Carmel NY (formally of Kingston NY).
