Description
A small mochaware seed cup having blue bands across the top and above the footed base. The front with a lithograph of a lady watering flowers under the word "SEEDS". Other decorations including beehive on the side. Impressed mark on base "D.G. Carpentier II" above stamped floral symbol encompassing the letters HP. Don Carpentier (American artist 1951-2014 - Historic Eastfield Village, East Nassau, NY). Very good condition. Measures 3"H x 2 7/8" diameter at base. Provenance: From the Doris and Jerry Soldner collection, Lake Carmel NY (formally of Kingston NY).
