Description
A blue and white spongeware bowl and pitcher, circa 1850-70. The pitcher measures 9 1/4"H x 8 1/2"W - light crazing, and overall very good condition; the bowl measures 12 1/2" diameter x 4 1/2"H - 2 hairline cracks extending from top rim and chips along the footed base. Provenance: From the Doris and Jerry Soldner collection, Lake Carmel NY (formally of Kingston NY).
