Description
A Shaker wooden hand crank apple peeler with table mounting clamp, 19th century. Missing carved nut that holds the shaving bar in place (currently has a leather replacement to help keep it fastened to it's shaft) - also missing the cutting blade itself, otherwise complete and in working order. Overall measurements 12_W (end of handle to end of fork) x 9"D x 14"H as it would sit if clamped to table. Provenance: From the Doris and Jerry Soldner collection, Lake Carmel NY (formally of Kingston NY).
