Description
This is an antique castor set made by Richard Pearce & George Burrows of London, England in 1838. Rendered in fine sterling silver, this castor holds seven cut glass vessels including cruets and salt and pepper shakers. The shakers are topped in sterling silver. Marked with the traditional English hallmarks indicating silver purity.
11" tall x 8 1/2" x 5". Without the glass components, the base weighs a total of 26+ozt (including the wooden base.

Condition
Minor surface scratches and abrasions to the silver. There is a partial loss to the collar on one of the cruets. Minor flaking to the stopper ends and base rims. There is a large flake loss to the base of one of the shakers.
