c.15th-18th century A.D. A mixed group of finger rings comprising: one bearing 'IHS to bezel and cross-hatched arms, c.1550-1650; one with flat-section hoop and long raised bezel decorated with parallel rows of pellets; a flat-section hoop decorated with raised panels bearing stylised floral and foliate motifs; D-section hoop with circular piercings; a memento mori ring with skull; hoop bearing pricked letters to the outer face. 9.02 grams total, 18-22 mm (18.3 grams total, 63 x 43 mm including case) (5/8 - 3/4 in. (2 1/2 x 1 5/8 in.)). Found Thames foreshore, Tower of London, UK. Accompanied by a copy of Portable Antiquities Scheme (PAS) report number LON-7D5490. [6, No Reserve]
