A Chinese famille rose covered jar with antiques decoration, dating from the 19th century. Red flowers come out from a three legged antique vessel, with lines of poetry on opposite side in black and red. The cover with a flared rim also echoes the design on the body. A red wax stamp is still retained on the base.

Condition: good condition overall for age and use, with a short hairline to the rim, and a chip on the rim of the cover.
