Description

DESCRIPTION: (2 Pc) A Pair of 1930s Curt Schlevogt crystal dresser vanity boxes. This set includes: one (1) clear crystal lidded box designed with a rectangular shape and featuring a detailed etched figural frieze of ancient classical figures on the lid; and one (1) pink colored crystal lidded box with the lid molded in relief with a nude reclining female figure. This box is part of the Ingrid series from the 1930s. The top depicts the Goddess Horae, holding an hourglass. She is the Goddess of seasons according to Greek Mythology. Both boxes have beveled edges on both the lid and the base.

CIRCA: 20th Century.
ORIGIN: Czech Republic.
DIMENSIONS: H: 2" W: 4 1/2" D: 3 1/2"; and W: 5 1/4" D: 4" H: 2 1/2".
