Edgar Degas (French, 1834-1917) polychrome pastel Impressionist drawing on blue paper depicting a figure of a laundress figure ironing, with "Degas" estate stamp in red ink to lower right and housed under glass in a carved and painted wood House of Heydenryk frame with scalloped edges. Image: 14" H x 9.5" W; frame: 27.5" H x 23.25" W x 2" D. Provenance: Removed from a 1040 Park Avenue estate.
