Chinese Gold Plated Silver Imperial Headdress, early to mid 20th C. Imperial type crown of the Ming/Qing style with gold-plated mesh and wirework, enameled elements of twin dragons chasing a flaming pearl and wave motif along the brim. Centered in the front is a cabochon of likely aventurine or carnelian. Small size for either a child or to be worn atop head over gathered top bun. With a bespoke silk brocade display stand.
