A French Louis XV Style Gilt Framed Needle Work Embroidered Fire Screen, 19th Century

H: 44 1/4 x W: 24 1/2 x D: 17 3/8 in.

All proceeds from our auctions support the mission of the Dorian Gray Youth Foundation and Dorian Gray Galleries by providing funding and resources to the local NE Ohio housing insecure LGBTQ+ youth.

Condition

Some hairline cracks and losses throughout gilding. Poor restoration/repair to the lower left leg support and a larger area of plaster missing to same area. The needlepoint has color fading throughout and minor areas of thread loss.
