Item Details

Description

This wonderful animation still is from German silhouette artist and animator Lotte (Charlotte) Reiniger. Reiniger was a pioneer in silhouette animation and created over 40 films, she is also credited for the first full length animated film. It has been identified as either Puss in Boots or The Frog Prince, having watched both, believe it is neither, but the artistry does indicate to be one of hers. Nicely framed and measures 9" x 10", image measures 4" x 5"
