Circa 19th century Victorian style Sutherland drop leaf table on vase-and-ring turned legs, bottom vase-and-ring turned x -shaped cross stretchers, and caster feet. Sutherland tables were multi-faceted pieces of furniture in Victorian era households for use as writing tables, game tables, and for tea service. The piece's drop leaf and castor wheel construction made these tables both functional and easy to store or transport. Please note of wear consistent with age including patina and finish loss to the wood, especially seen on the center of the tabletop surface when the drop leaves are closed.
