Description
Ancient Holyland, Middle Bronze Age, ca. 1700 to 1400 BCE. A graceful pottery strainer presenting a funnel-like form with a broad flared rim and a shallow basin pierced with dozens of holes that lead to the tiered base and narrow spout. A ribbon form handle rises from the rim, arching gracefully upwards and ending at the interior of the basin, just before the straining holes. Size: 5.8" Diameter x 4.5" H (14.7 cm x 11.4 cm); 5.1" H (13 cm) on included custom stand.

Minor area of restoration to rim. Expected surface wear with nicks and abrasions, commensurate with age. Chipping to spout. Otherwise, excellent with nice earthen deposits.
