ASSORTED EXPOSITION / WORLD'S FAIR SOUVENIR SEWING AND OTHER ARTICLES, LOT OF TEN, comprising a 1893 Chicago World's Columbian Exposition shell boat thimble holder, a rectangular 1892 Columbian Exposition brass box/case with velvet lining, a 1933 Chicago World's Fair egg-form measuring tape with fly pull, a Singer Panama Exposition 1915 ribbon threader/bodkin, a New York World's Fair 1939 J. & P. Coats Sewing & Mending Companion box with spools of thread and a thimble, and five souvenir spoons including one sterling spoon by Maier & Berkele for the 1895 Cotton States and International Exposition in Atlanta, GA. Most pieces with marks. Total weight of one marked sterling spoon: 0.360 ozt. Each retains collection number sticker and detailed collection card. Late 19th/20th century. Spoons 4" to 6" L.

Mostly in good to very good overall condition with wear and other imperfections including surface scratches, slight bending, and/or worn spots; boat thimble holder lacking pieces; measuring tape with fly detached; J. & P. Coats box with fading, small losses and tears, some contents possibly unoriginal.
