EUROPEAN GUILLOCHE ENAMELED STERLING SILVER SEWING KITS, LOT OF TWO, each of two-part construction bullet-form container, comprising a German threaded example with a blue ground guilloche and scattered hand-painted rose decoration, moonstone/opal stone thimble cap, threaded cover with base revealing an interior fitted with a three-section spool/reel holder and interior compartment containing a pair of steel scissors with endcap impressed "925" and a mark, end of spool impressed "925" and an illegible marking; and a Norwegian slip-on example with pink guilloche and black silhouettes of birds and vines, slight variances in color of two parts, interior fitted with a three-section spool/reel holder, central needle case, silver thimble marked "830S" with zig-zag pattern and monogrammed, top with a purple stone. Blue case with impressed "STERLING" to the extension, pink case impressed "925 S. G. B." to exterior. Each retains collection number sticker and detailed collection card. First quarter 20th century. 2 1/8" and 2 1/2" L.
