The God of Wealth is here depicted as a corpulent man seated on a double reverse lotus throne with beaded rims, his right leg pendent and standing on an extra lotus flower stemming from the base, the other leg is drawn to his body. The body has the shape of a pear and is dressed in a long garment with floral incised pattern. The torso is decorated with armlets, bracelets, a large necklace and a flower garland. He is holding the gem-spewing mongoose in his left hand and a citrus fruit in the right with index and little finger stretched. The face is round with small features, downcast eyes, calm expression, a raised urna on the forehead. He wears large circular ear pendants and a five-pointed tiara. His chignon is topped by a lotus bud or diamond. Jambhala is found in five principal colors, black, yellow, white, green and red. He can appear as a king, peaceful, semi-peaceful or semi-wrathful and wrathful.
